About this Project
Competitive Bid – Interior remodel on the 2nd floor, in high security clearance area, of the City of Grand Junction Police Station. Work included interior demolition of finishes (flooring, drywall, casework) to accommodate the proposed floor plan of new full finish office space. Coordination between Owner Representative and Ford team was key to the project success. Existing materials were re-incorporated into the new space to aid in saving cost. Existing fire sprinkler, electrical and mechanical was modified to the new floor plan for the office space. 62% of the work was completed with Ford Construction in-house work force. No change orders.
