About this Project
Design/Build – Renovation of 25,296 sf two story office/shop building (6,966 sf office & 18,330 sf shop). Similar to the facility we have just completed for GE Oil & Gas in Grand Junction CO., this facility was modified to accommodate their needs for their industry. Work included removing existing concrete as needed to place structural concrete column pads for the new crane system and included installing two (2) 15 ton overhead bridge cranes, one paint booth, two CMU high-pressure test bunkers (including associated engineering), and one interior wash stall. The shop received special application that included grinding the existing slab to get the right texture then the concrete is to be hardened and sealed. This will allow them to have a wet work area that is safer for the workers and will not let liquids absorb into the concrete. Site work also included 14,075 sf of 7″ concrete paving for a laydown yard and fencing as needed to secure the site.
Scope of work in the office area included installing a full breakroom, conference room with I.T., and locker room.
