About this Project
Competitive Bid – Modify existing building to install an additional passenger elevator (2,100 lb) in the historical Garfield County Courthouse. Work completed after hours, to deter impact to daily operations. Scope included removing concrete/steel decks and framing of 3 floors, to construct the elevator shaft/walls. Plumbing, mechanical, fire alarm, fire sprinkler and electrical were modified for the new elevator. On each floor finishes were modified for elevator entrances, and fire rated doors/hardware, while maintaining historical.
In 2015, Ford Construction also completed the DA Office Remodel in Garfield Co. Court House.
