About this Project
Competitive Bid – New construction of 2,846 sf single story steel building for Grand Valley Transit’s west transfer facility. The open design with aluminum storefront glazing opens the lobby to invite customers to use the facility. This unique design included bullet resistant construction for the transaction booth inside the building. Interior finished with ceramic tile, acoustic ceiling, associated plumbing, HVAC, electrical and equipped with fire sprinkler system. Work included site development of 3.68 acre parcel with 20,673 sf of 4.5” thick asphalt paving, 19,359 sf 8” thick concrete paving, finished with sidewalk and approx. 84,974 sf of landscaping and detainage pond. Raised landscape planter beds throughout the site with split face masonry block define circulation of the site with the 6 canopy bus shelters.
