About this Project
Competitive Bid – 7,582 sf office remodel, on the 3rd floor of the operating Glenwood Springs Court House. Coordination and scheduling of work with Judges and courtroom schedules was crucial throughout the duration of the project. The existing space was full finish office, and all existing finishes were removed including flooring, framing, ceiling, doors, plumbing, mechanical and electrical to accommodate the proposed floor plan. The new space was completed with luxury vinyl floor tile, carpet tiles, acoustical ceilings with sound masking system. The existing fire sprinkler system, mechanical and electrical was modified to the new design. Storefront glazing was installed in the common walls of the offices and hallways to create an open concept increasing light throughout the office. Use of elevators to move construction material was prohibited. Crews carried materials in and out of the building up/down three flights of stairs.
