About this Project
Competitive Bid – New construction of 16,760 sf pre-engineered metal building for Town of Hotchkiss new Public Works Facility. The building design includes a five (5) vehicle bay shop with one (1) drive through bay, covered outdoor storage and office area with storage mezzanine above. Ford team joined the project team during the design phase and brought to the table construction options that offered cost saving solutions. Vehicle shop is equipped with concrete floor drain system and steel grate, skylight for natural light, air and water hook-ups and heating system for the winter months. In the wood framed office, there are two (2) offices, breakroom, and restrooms, kept low maintenance with hard surface flooring. The storage mezzanine is accessible by wood staircase that looks over the vehicle shop. The building is equipped with backup natural gas generator and set up for future solar system.
